Alatas provide crane parts and engineering services for ship and offshore cranes worldwide. Due to our expansion we require a Service Manager in our UK office in Kidderminster Worcestershire.
The role:
You will be responsible for managing a team of UK based engineers attending crane repair assignments globally on a wide range of machinery. Your duties will vary from arranging travel and visas to providing office based technical support, for engineers and customers and overseeing service reports and associated quotations, assisting our crane parts division as required. You will also be responsible for training and health and safety issues.
The candidate:
Your background will demonstrate a good track record of service management, having an electrical and/or hydraulic background and an understanding of associated schematics. You will be able to provide technical support by phone and email. Experience with cranes, hoists or similar mechanical lifting equipment or plant is desirable.
Computer literacy, basic financial/business experience, good oral and written communication skills and previous employment in an office environment would be beneficial. You must be physically fit and able to work at heights. A full and valid driving license will be needed. Only applicants who are legally entitled to live and work in the UK will be considered for the posts. References and background checks will be carried out.
The package:
